Programme Structure


  • If you achieve a final mark of at least 50 per cent in all subjects of the Diploma of Engineering, you will receive 48 credit points (entry to second year) towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at UOW. 
  • A recognised Higher Education Diploma qualification is awarded upon completion, which can be used to pursue entry level career opportunities. This course is jointly delivered by the University of Wollongong and UOW College.

  • Year 12 Mathematics 2 unit (any result) or Mathematics standard 2 ≥80%

  • Results in an overseas qualification deemed equivalent to minimum ATAR and individual subject results,
