Human resource management professionals work closely with people to help them with their careers. In this major, you will learn about selection and recruitment procedures, staff training, development and performance management, and organisational change. You will also be able to advise organisations regarding their staffing needs to enable them to deliver their core business effectively and efficiently.

If you like to plan, organise, lead and direct groups of people to achieve a specific goal, then studying management is a good choice for you. In this major you will learn about management's core functions: communication, planning, teamwork, strategy, human resources and self-development. You will also develop analytical, communication and decision-making skills, which will enable you to add value to any organisation.
