"Anthropology? What kind of job are you going to get with that?"

If you've been an Anthropology at the University of Alberta major for any length of time, you've probably heard this question when you tell people what you are studying at university. And it can be discouraging that so many people believe that you need to get your master's and/or PhD degrees before you can get anywhere with anthropology.

While it is true that you will need some more education before you can truly call yourself an anthropologist, students who graduate with a BA with a major in anthropology work all over the world (and right here in Alberta, Canada) in all sorts of fields.
