Overview
The Science (Forensic Science) program at Western Sydney University has a strong emphasis on the biological sciences (including DNA techniques, genetics, plants and toxicology), the chemical sciences (including analytical chemistry, biochemistry and organic chemistry) and, within this degree, you will find specialised Forensic units.
Study forensic photography, hair and fibre comparison, footwear and tyre impression evidence, fingerprinting, blood spatter interpretation, tool mark examination, biological evidence, drug identification, DNA analysis, explosive residues, GSR (gunshot residue) and buried evidence.
