What you will learn
The first two years of the programme are designed to give you the prerequisites needed to apply to veterinary college, including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and English composition, in addition to courses targeted to the bioveterinary sciences. To be considered for admission to this programme, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your programme of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).
Programme-specific admission requirements
Bachelor of Science Agriculture (Bioveterinary Science) requirements:
- Minimum overall average: 75%
- Academic English 12
- Pre-calculus Math 12
- Three additional academic subjects
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher after their second year of study
- Identify and gain the support of a thesis supervisor at the start of their third year of studies.
