Description
The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 72 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

Benefits
The University of Hull is offering scholarships for students beginning a full-time, postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2025.
One successful applicant in each of the categories listed below will receive an award of £10,000 (GBP) in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
1 x Bangladeshi student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Indian student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Indonesian student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Mexican student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Thai student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Turkish student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
Successful applicants will be required to pay a £4,000 tuition fee deposit to secure their place on their programme.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a University of Hull – GREAT Scholarship 2025 - all applicants must:
- Be a passport holder and resident of one of the respective countries included within this scholarship.
- Have received an offer of study for a postgraduate taught degree programme at the University of Hull.
- Have achieved, or be working towards, a 2:1 degree or equivalent in their undergraduate programme recognised by the University of Hull.
- Have achieved an IELTS of at least 6.5 overall, with 5.5 in each skill or equivalent before the application deadline.
- Have not previously studied in the UK.
