The University of Hull will cover 100% of tuition fees during your PhD study, which is three years in length.
You may enter a writing-up period at the end of the three years. The University of Hull will cover the fees during this period, but your scholarship from CSC will not usually cover you during the writing-up year (4th year).
The China Scholarship Council will provide living allowance for three years, a return international airfare between China and the UK and funding to cover passport and visa fees.

- Students must hold a PR Chinese passport (applicants from Hong Kong or Taiwan are not eligible). Applicants can either be resident in China at the time of application or studying overseas.
- Students with prior experience of studying overseas (including in the UK) are eligible to apply.
- Successful scholarship applicants are required to return to China for a period of two years after completing their PhD.
