Description

National University of Singapore can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.

National University of Singapore awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs. 

Benefits

Each Scholarship award is valued at up to $10,000 and up to 5 scholarships will be awarded in each academic year.

Eligibility

Singaporeans who are:

  • 1 st year full-time undergraduates who have been accepted by the UNIVERSITY to study at the Department and who have achieved good results in the GCE A-Levels or equivalent entrance examinations;
  • 2 nd to 4th year full-time undergraduates enrolled in the UNIVERSITY who have achieved good academic results in their course of study at the Department, i.e. a minimum Cumulative Average Point (CAP) of 3.5;
  • Full-time undergraduates who have received the Scholarship previously and who wish to be considered again.
  • Applicants must read Chinese Studies / Chinese Language modules and declare Chinese Studies / Chinese Language as their major after Semester 1 in the first year of study and have obtained a CAP of at least 3.5.
  • The Scholarship is tenable yearly and awarded in Semester 1 of the Academic Year.
  • The Selection Committee will give consideration to students who demonstrate the following: Good leadership skills and character records; Good CCA involvement.
  • In the event that there are more candidates of equal merit, the financial needs will be the deciding factor for breaking ties. 6. No Scholarship will be awarded unless there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
