Benefits
The bursary can help with travel to any of their on-campus events like Open Days, Open Evenings, Interviews, Applicant Experience Days or Campus Tours, and covers train, coach, plane, or ferry travel using the most affordable option.
Round trip travel under 100 Miles - Up to £50
Round trip travel 101 to 199 miles - Up to £100
Round trip travel over 200 miles - Up to £150
Hotels for round trip over 200 miles - up to £120
Eligibility
To qualify for the Travel Bursary, you must:
- Be attending an event for your first undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Be eligible to receive student finance from one of the UK or Channel Island funding bodies
- Student Finance Wales
- Student Finance England
- Student Finance NI
- Student Awards Agency Scotland
- Student Finance Jersey
- Student Finance Guernsey and Alderney
- Student Finance Isle of Man
- Have booked and attended a University of South Wales Open Day, Interview Day, or Applicant Experience Day
- Only claim once for each event you attend
