Description

The Estranged Students' Bursary is intended to provide financial support to students who have experienced a permanent breakdown in their relationship with their family and are studying without family financial support.

The bursary is administered through DMU's Transitions Team and is paid annually throughout the student's course, subject to continued eligibility.

Applicants must:

  • Be classified as a Home (UK) student.
  • Be studying full-time.
  • Pay the full UK tuition fee.
  • Be permanently estranged from their family.
  • Have no other source of income.
