Description
The International Travel Fund is available to current undergraduate and postgraduate students at Bath Spa University who wish to undertake an international study trip or work placement outside the UK.
The proposed activity must go beyond the normal requirements of the student's programme and have a direct impact on their studies, research, career development, or employability. The fund supports a wide range of international opportunities but does not cover compulsory course field trips or assessed activities.
Benefits
The fund provides up to £650 to contribute towards travel-related costs associated with an approved international study trip or work placement abroad.
Eligibility
- Must be a current registered undergraduate or postgraduate student at Bath Spa University.
- Must study at Newton Park, Sion Hill, Locksbrook, Corsham Court or BSU London.
- Students studying through partner institutions, exchange programmes, distance learning or other ineligible modes are not eligible.
- The proposed activity must be an overseas study trip or work placement that has a direct impact on academic studies, research, career development or employability.
- The trip must not begin within six weeks of the chosen application deadline.
- The trip must be completed before 31 August (or before graduation for final-year students).
- Applicants receiving another Bath Spa University travel award are not eligible.

Applicants must complete the BSU Funds for International Travel application through MyCareer/AppHub. The application requires details of the proposed trip, a supporting statement, estimated costs, and a reference.
