Description
NAIT Entrance Awards support new students starting their first year of studies at NAIT by recognizing achievement, community involvement, or financial need. Applicants are assessed through a single application after applying for admission.
Benefits
When a student receives a NAIT Entrance Award, the funding can be used toward their first‑year tuition and fees at NAIT. The award is meant to help finance the student’s first year of post‑secondary studies and can also recognize their academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular participation, financial need, or diversity‑related criteria.
Eligibility
- Entrance awards are for students beginning their degree, diploma, certificate or apprenticeship program who are new to NAIT and have not previously taken credits or completed a program at NAIT.
- To receive an entrance award application, you must apply for admission before the application deadline.

After applying for admission to NAIT, you’ll receive an email within 48 hours with a link to the award application in MyAwards Central, as long as the application is still open. The email will be sent to the email address listed on your application.
This single application will assess you for all apply-to entrance awards.
After applying, be sure to create your MyNAIT account as you’ll use the same login credentials to access the award application.
You’ll use the MyAwards Central to complete, submit and track your entrance award application.
