Description
The Emerging Technology Scholarship honors that commitment to forward-thinking education by awarding eligible candidates with a full-tuition scholarship for select technology-focused bachelor's degree programs at Full Sail.
The Emerging Technology Scholarship is designed to identify individuals who are exceptionally talented in their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, academically successful, and passionate about emerging technology industries. Through this program, students will receive a full scholarship for select campus or online Bachelor of Science degree programs.
Benefits
Recipients of the Emerging Technology Scholarship receive full tuition coverage and a laptop (Project LaunchBox) for their selected bachelor’s degree program at Full Sail University. The scholarship supports students throughout their academic journey, recognizing exceptional talent, innovation, and problem-solving ability in emerging technology fields.
Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration, those applying for the Emerging Technology Scholarship must:
- Meet Admissions requirements for an eligible Bachelor of Science degree program: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Information Technology, Simulation Engineering, or Web Development.
- Have earned at least one of the following: a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher in their high school or postsecondary (minimum of 30 semester credits), an SAT score after February 2016 of 1133 or higher, or an ACT score of 25 or higher when the scholarship application is submitted.
- Submit an Application for Admission by January 10, 2026.
- Submit an original project with screencast per instructions in Section D by January 10, 2026.
- Begin their degree program within two years of selection for the scholarship.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress and adhere to Full Sail University's Code of Conduct.

Students must first apply for admission to an eligible Bachelor of Science program at Full Sail University and complete the admissions interview. Eligible candidates must then submit an original project with a screencast based on their chosen degree by January 10. Finalists will be invited to a virtual whiteboard problem-solving competition, from which scholarship winners will be selected.
