Description
The criterion of academic excellence is a priority for awarding the grant, although, since the funds available are limited, family income is taken into account to determine the allocation of the grant if there are candidates with the same level of excellence.
The family unit must pay taxes in Spain or Andorra.

Benefits
This grant covers from 20% to 80% of the tuition fees for the entire degree programme. In this way, the cost is similar to tuition fees at public universities.
Eligibility
- Baccalaureate students: have at least an 8 average in the first year of baccalaureate.
- Students on vocational training courses: have at least a 9 average in the first year of the programme.
- Pass the UIC Barcelona specific test for the grant and the personal interview
- Pass the official university entrance exam
- Enrol for a minimum of 60 credits per year
