Brain Gain Malaysia(BGM), a programme managed by Ministry of Science,Technology and Innovation Malaysia(MOSTI), was launched on 4 December 2006.
The main mission of BGM, is to fast-track Malaysia's transition to an innovation-led economy, by leveraging the talent pool of Malaysian Diaspora and/or foreign Researchers, scientist, Engineers and Technopreneurs (RSETs) residing abroad through incentive offerings for mutual benefit.

A great undergrad experience in foreign
The university has been very welcoming to me as an international students and the lecturers and and my seniors have been very cooperative and helpful to me ever since. The campus life is also really good. Therefore, it has been a great experience.
Life in UTM
Overall, it has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It's impossible to become bored studying here because it's so close to the large cities of Johor Baharu and Singapore. It is, in my opinion, Malaysia's largest. If someone is considering studying in Malaysia, particularly in engineering-related courses, UTM is without a doubt the finest option.
