Brunel University London

Bachelor's programmes

In 2016, Brunel celebrated 50 years as a university.  However, our history can be traced back much further to 1798 through our predecessor colleges of Borough Road College, Maria Grey College, Shoreditch College and the West London Institute of Higher Education and as well as through Acton Technical College then Brunel College.

By becoming part of team Brunel, you'll study and learn with academic experts who are at the top of their field and passionate about their subjects. And develop problem-solving, study and research skills through lectures, seminars, field trips, presentations, and group work and research projects. You’ll have the option to personalise your course by choosing modules to suit your future career path.

Your studies will be supported by some of the best equipment and facilities around, that mirror the world of work. With more than 1,400 study spaces, 500 PCs, group study rooms and silent study areas across the campus, plus 24-hour access to our Library, there’s always somewhere to get down to work.

Brunel has three Research Institutes that bring together academics from most of our research areas to collaboratively tackle very specific challenges to the world’s economy and society. They are world leading, with highly-cited papers, substantial grant income and provide a thriving community for research staff and students.

  • We have strong, long-standing industry links and an excellent track record for placing sandwich students in prestigious global companies such as Accenture, BP and Volkswagen.
  • International students can undertake paid and voluntary work placements for one year, and gain valuable practical skills and work experience before graduating.
  • Our dedicated, on-campus placement officers are there to support you in finding and securing work placements.

Student Reviews

Not great, not terrible.

Lovely campus with everything you need nearby. My course could have more lectures and workshops though. Student halls are okay but not great. Lots and lots opportunities to join different societies and sports clubs.
