Maltese Ministry for Education and Employment

The mission of the Ministry of Education is to provide Maltese citizens with real and fair choices in the important sectors of education, culture and sports. For this purpose it tries to ensure that: public education provides the best service to the Maltese citizens; the appreciation of cultural and artistic expressions is enhanced, not only among Maltese and Gozitans living in the country, but also among those living in other communities; special attention is given to the development of sports, and that the Maltese youth is given the necessary space, opportunities and means to attain a pre-eminent role in society.
