History
2008 marked UNVA's tenth anniversary. Now established as a major international university, the University of Northern Virginia offers accredited American-style educational programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. Headquartered in the United States, UNVA also has campuses in London and in Prague.
Education
- The Bachelor degrees at University of Northern Virginia - Prague are intended to prepare graduates for responsible managerial roles within a variety of organizational settings.
- The University of Northern Virginia's Master of Business Administration Program prepares students for management and leadership positions in "old" and "new" economy businesses throughout the world.
- Each MBA Program is comprised of fourteen three-credit courses (42 credit hours) and is divided into three groups of courses.
- University of Northern virginia in Prague has several continuing education programs for everybody.
Career
The mission of the Job Placement Program (JPP) is to assist students in finding employment through a comprehensive array of services. The Job Placement Program is available to graduates, currently enrolled students and former students. This office serves as a source for employment opportunities available in the local community and outlying area. The Job Placement Program continues to receive information about a substantial number of career-oriented positions, thus, providing students the opportunity to match their majors or interests with related employment.

Student services
The Office of International Student Affairs is committed to providing culturally sensitive services of the highest quality. As the campus office devoted to international students and scholars, we strive to create an environment that allows for successful educational and personal experiences through orientation, advising, programs and outreach.
Housing services
We are the only University in Prague that provides on campus housing. Apartments (with a cleaning service) are provided for the students. The apartments are inside the UNVA building itself...thereby increasing safety and increasing the American University lifestyle These apartments are available to all UNVA students.
Library services
The Prague campus library holds a collection of up to date textbooks from all areas supporting the curriculum of business, economics, political science, and various general studies. Additionally, the library subscribes to three major online library databases providing a powerful tool for student research.
ICT services
University of Northern Virginia computer lab is open to all UNVA Prague students during normal administrative operating hours: 10:00 to 18:00. The room is equipped with internet-ready PC workstations. The University of Northern Virginia campus in Prague is WIFI enabled.
Sports facilities
University of Northern Virginia Praguepartnered with Holmes Place health and fitness club to provides the best quality health and fitness equipments and services to all UNVA Prague members including students, alumni, faculty, administration and staff.
Student clubs
The student council is a student-run organisation that organizes school events, manage several services and acts as a bridge between the student body and school administration. UNVA Prague student council follows a modern and very democratic organizational structure to encourage inovation and collaboration.
