SKEMA Business School

SKEMA was founded in 2009 as a result of the merger between the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Lille and CERAM Business School, Sophia Antipolis. The Lille school had been ​founded in 1892 and CERAM in 1963.

SKEMA is a community devoted to learning and the creation and transmission of management knowledge and practice. Since its inception, SKEMA has become a global school with a multi-campus structure and a large portfolio of programmes taught in English and in French. These range from undergraduate level to continuing education and are aligned with the Bologna higher education norms (Licence, Master, Doctorate). 

​Preparing our students for their future career as competent and responsible professionals is an overarching aspect of our mission. We aim to ensure that our research activities are shared with our students as early and as thoroughly as possible to enable them to benefit from the insights and knowledge generated by our faculty. Our programmes develop research awareness and skills from entry level up to the PhD programmes.

Our careers service  provide support for students across all programmes and all countries in finding a job.

This support is structured around the following aspects:

• Personal branding

Assistance in writing a CV, matching skills and strengths to employer needs when drafting the cover letter and during the interview pitch, mastering professional skills in different situations and different countries

• Creating a career plan

Understanding the range of careers associated with each programme, in order to transfer a personal interest for a subject into a true career plan, and use any network, including the alumni network for this purpose.
