We are committed to further education for professionals and companies since 2005.
On the initiative and with the support of Dr. h.c. Hans-Werner Hector, a founding member of SAP, and his wife Josefine Hector, the cornerstones of the study concept of the HECTOR School were defined in 2004.

Career
As a result of our alumni survey conducted in 2021, 65% of participants confirmed a simultaneous increase in budget and personnel responsibility. Additionally, 82% stated that their salary has increased since obtaining their Master's degree. These figures demonstrate the development in exciting and future-oriented professional fields.

The HECTOR School offers modern accommodation facilities to students right on campus. Other advantages are:
- Proximity to the historic palace of Karlsruhe and its extensive park areas
- Proximity to KIT campus including library, cantine, sport facilities etc.
- City center with a wide variety of restaurants, shops and grocery stores right in front of the building
Library services
The KIT library supports students and scientists with over two million books and 28,000 magazines. Focus areas are natural sciences, engineering, and economic sciences. The latest literature is freely accessible. The library offers several services via the internet, including online catalogs, subject-specific databases, electronic full texts, multimedia, and document delivery services.
Campus life
The campus of the HECTOR School is located in the heart of Karlsruhe. Relax in the breaks between the lectures in the park or enjoy various delicacies in the nearby localities.
Sports facilities
The university sports program of the KIT is aimed at students and employees of the KIT cooperation facilities. It offers a wide range of sport programs, groups, and activities. You can join the fitness club, use the indoor swimming pool, or the tennis courts. There are also numerous groups and courses for different sport activities: from acrobatics over various ball sports, to yoga.
