Founded in 1993 by Royal Dahir (decree), Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane opened its doors to students in January 1995. Based on the principles of diversity and an international outlook, the university's mission is driven by values of human solidarity and tolerance.
Al Akhawayn has modeled its administrative, pedagogical, and academic organization on the American university system, and English is the language of instruction. At our library, we welcome study groups as well as host various educational events - all designed with one purpose in mind; helping you gain access to and use the information towards furthering your learning experience while on campus.
The AUI Health Center has four doctors and four nurses. All students are automatically enrolled in the university health insurance plan. The Health Center also offers counseling services.
The students' comfort, well-being and safety are paramount. The campus' perfect setting offers excellent facilities for their overall emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. There are about 10 sports clubs and over 40 student organizations, 3 student publicationsand a media outlet.The campus provides a wealth of services for our students, faculty and staff to make life easier - from banking needs through the ATM to IT support with ITS, health care at the center or counseling options when needed; not forgetting housekeeping, copy and shuttle services too. Security is provided around-the-clock onsite as well.

I studied in Al Akhawayn university for 2 years and I had the best experience as a student, the studies level was more than perfect. Also the university the best technology that help the studies with high level.
Cadi Ayyad University is an impressive and vast institution with a very welcoming atmosphere. The academic side is actually really good; the professors are knowledgeable, and the environment motivates you to learn. However, the facilities could be better. The tables and seating in many classrooms are quite old and uncomfortable; they definitely need a fix to match the high level of education provided. Overall, it's a nice place to study, but improving the infrastructure would make the student experience much better.
