Education
Gain new skills with MIT and get more for you, your whānau, and your community. We'll help you get the experience you need, and provide you with the support to succeed.
Research
Pasifika researchers and researchers with 'Pacific hearts' work as academic staff or in other areas within MIT. The emphasis at MIT is being able to take indigenous research methodologies and use them to inform our programmes of learning. There are various subcommittees that sit under the Academic Board to ensure that Pasifika ways of knowing and being, makes its way into our certificates, diplomas and degrees.
Career
Tangata (people) and community are at the heart of everything we do at MIT | Te Pūkenga. We are now part of a national organisation helping Aotearoa, New Zealand, move to a vocational education system that puts ākonga (learners) and their whānau in the centre of all we do. We are on a journey to bring together on-the-job, on campus and online vocational education and training through a unified, sustainable network of regionally accessible provision.
