History
Aksaray University is a young university founded in 2006, but it has a long history. Its history dates back to 1986.
Education
Today's Technical Sciences Vocational School started education in 1986-1987 academic year under the name of Technical Programs Department as a Vocational School dependent to Selçuk University. With the establishment of Niğde University in 1992, all existing units were connected to Niğde University. Our university was established in Aksaray with the Law No. 5467, March 17, 2006, and the existing faculties and vocational schools with Niğde University were connected to Aksaray University Rectorate.
Research
Education, research and scientific activities are carried out by our experienced, dynamic and competent 798 academic staff and 317 administrative staff working full-time at our university, which attracts attention with its achievements both in the international and national community. Thus, Aksaray University became a large institution with a population of 24,000.

International Student Office provides consultancy to all international students from application process to graduation. Office is responsible from all international students from undergraduate to PhD levels including exchange students.
Sports facilities
There are indoor sports hall with a capacity of 500, athleticism parkour and stadium belonging to our academy.

Solid Foundation in Industrial Eng
During my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Aksaray University, I gained a solid academic foundation that helped me understand and optimize complex processes. What I really liked was the diversity of the courses, seamlessly blending technical engineering with management aspects. The campus environment was also encouraging and added a lot to my personal experience. In terms of improvement, I wish the curriculum had integrated more modern software tools and automation technologies into the practical modules to better match the rapidly evolving job market. Overall, it was a very positive and fruitful study experience that gave me the knowledge and confidence to take the next step and pursue my Master's degree. I highly recommend this program to anyone passionate about continuous improvement.
