Student services
In line with the goals of the SEMUMS, the Deputy of Student and Cultural Affairs strives to provide and upgrade facilities to optimize the living space. Also, it provides the minimum basic needs for all students.
Providing and promoting a healthy environment to increase and improve students' mental activities is one of the most important student affairs.
Housing services
The dormitory is a place for students to rest, study, have fun, etc. In fact, it is the second home of students, since they spend many hours there. Therefore, the staff and management of the dormitory affairs will welcome dear students to the university, and strive to make the dormitory safe, quiet and suitable for living. Therefore, we provide students with all the information related to the facilities, accommodation costs, criteria and stages of accommodation in dormitories, etc.
Library services
The Central Library provides the access to an extensive digital library of e-books, e-journals and also printed scientific resources including books and theses. You access to the platform of most premier publishers and citation databases by using digital library.
ICT services
Mission of IT in SEMUMS:
- Organizing and renovating the network platform and expanding it to all covered units in the framework of network security policies;
- Updating the required hardware and software in order to use the equipment, speed up the information processing with the optimal use of available resources
- Upgrading technology.

Campus life
SEMUMS currently has 13 dormitory buildings located in Semnan-Damghan-Sorkheh and Aradan scattered throughout the city or centrally on the campus of the university. One of them is the accommodation of married students. Three dormitories located in Aradan to accommodate male and female students privately and it is supervised by the university.
A dormitory in Semnan for female students is managed privately by the university.
Sports facilities
Goals:
- Helping to improve the quality of life, strengthen the health, and abilities of students
- Generalizing social justice, comprehensive and balanced development of sports programs and activities
- Spreading the culture of sports among academics to achieve a healthy society
- Guiding, supporting and monitoring continuously of the activities of sports associations and those involved in sports in the university
- Arranging plans to prepare students, staff and professors to achieve better results in sports competitions and Olympiads
- Providing the necessary facilities for the expansion and development of student and staff sports in the university
