On 31 January a delegation led by Nawab Sir Salimullah,Nawab Syed Nawab Ali Chowdhury and Sher e-Bangla A.K. Fazlul Hug met Viceroy Lord Hardinge on his visit to Dhaka (then Dacca) and raised the demand of the establishment of a University in the region.On 2 February a communique was published stating the decision of the Government of India to recommend the Constitution of a University at Dhaka.

3 Hostels.
Central Library : Library is an integral part of a university. Beginning with a collection of eighteen thousand books received from Dhaka College and the Law College, the Library now has over 600,000 books and periodicals. Dhaka University Library started as a part of the Dhaka University on the 1st of July, 1921.
Its campus, too, regularly hosts different national and international events and festivals where people from every corner can and do participate. It is a hub for breeding and nourishing liberal, secular and humanistic values.

My overall experience was great. I really liked the course curriculum, but I think it could be improved. Exams and evaluations are good overall. There's no best but I had my best experience.
I studied Islamic History and Culture at Government Titumir College, affiliated with the University of Dhaka. Overall, my study experience was positive and helped me develop my academic knowledge and understanding of history and culture. I particularly liked the opportunity to learn about different historical periods, cultures and societies, as well as interacting with teachers and fellow students. The academic environment provided me with valuable learning experiences. There is always room for improvement. More modern teaching methods, better access to digital learning resources, and more academic activities could make the learning experience even better. Overall, my time at Government Titumir College was an important and valuable part of my academic journey, and I am grateful for the knowledge and experience I gained there.
