IITH in the past couple of years has been highly successful in building tie-ups with leading academic institutions around the globe. IITH enjoys a very special relationship with Japanese Universities and Industries that goes beyond academic and research collaborations. In fact, some of the iconic buildings in IITH campus will carry the signature of Japanese architecture.

From 14-15 academic year onwards all B.Tech programs started offering courses that are of smaller credits; called the fractal academics; very carefully designed to keep the enthusiasm of the students and to keep them in pace with the state of the art from 1st semester till 8th semester.
IITH has more than 100 research labs. The participants can either stay in IITH hostels or hotels with whom IITH has negotiated discounted rates. The institute provides free transport facility from the hostel as well as the below mentioned hotels to the conference venue.
IITH has a well equipped library with more than 20,000 books and 10,000 periodicals. The books include reference books as well as the ones for regular circulation. IITH also has an internal repository of scholarly publications made by its faculty and students.
The Computer Centre provides students, faculty, and staff of IITH various computer and IT related facilities including, but not limited to internet access, LAN, email, VPN, software licenses, data servers, website maintenance, and process automation.
The IITH speciality medical center is adjacent to Sampoorna super market situated in the faculty towers area. We have 24*7 emergency services.

I had a positive experience at this university. The academic environment is supportive, with knowledgeable professors who are approachable and willing to guide students. I especially appreciated the well-structured courses, modern learning facilities, and diverse extracurricular opportunities. Campus life was vibrant, fostering both academic and personal growth. While there�s always room for improvement in areas like administrative processing speed, the overall experience was rewarding. I would recommend this university to anyone seeking quality education in a motivating environment.
It's a great institute, it offers different programs in undergraduate, graduate and post doctorate levels. For the future students, if you want to explore more about yourself, and want to pursue your dreams with better technical knowledge you should definitely go for this university.
The curriculum is generally good, but the implementation is terrible. When I was at the school, the specialization was changed three times. The facilities, despite having the potential to be very good, were in awful condition. I could recommend the school, but not the biomedical engineering degree.
