We have been supporting students for more than 100 years, with a strong network of online and face-to-face support to help students achieve their best during their time with us. Our Student Services team in Dubai will assist you with many aspects of your studies and life on campus, including:

Housing services
The accommodation options include either twin or single rooms within a three bedroom apartment or studio rooms with shared kitchen and living space. All bedrooms include an en-suite shower room.
The accommodation offers a number of other benefits as part of your fee including fully equipped gym, separate buildings for females (with female only cleaners and security staff), sports facilities on site for football, volleyball and basketball, all utilities including air conditioning, laundrette facilities, high speed wifi, 24 hour security, free car parking and weekly cleaning.
Library services
Our libraries are an important academic and research resource in the UK. We hold over 1.5 million print and 866,000 online books, and more than 124,000 print and online journals. Our staff provide front line and specialist support, information literacy and academic skills teaching, so that students and staff find and use information effectively.
Medical services
We understand that adjusting to university life can be a challenge. Your health, wellbeing and personal development are as important to us as your academic achievement. To help with this, we have a dedicated Student Wellbeing Officer in Dubai, who can assist you with any academic or wellbeing concerns that you may have during your time with us.
Campus life
Our new campus is now open and we cannot wait to welcome you to study here, for a student experience like no other in Dubai. The new campus will provide an academic home for up to 2,900 students, a community for Birmingham alumni in the region and hub for community outreach and engagement activities.
Birmingham was the first global top 100 and UK Russell Group university to establish a campus in this rapidly developing international education hub. Our new campus is located in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC). It has been designed by Hopkins Architects and the construction is managed by TECOM Group.
Student clubs
As a student in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to shape the voice of students through the Student’s Association. Students can take advantage of a wide range of opportunities beyond studying including in sport, community volunteering, arts and culture.
Working in partnership with the university, you will be able to set up student clubs and organize trips and extracurricular activities, giving students plenty of opportunities to socialize, network and make the most of their university experience.The University of Birmingham Dubai has been granted Initial Institutional Licensure by the UAE's Ministry of Education through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), recognising the quality of our educational experience, which stretches and challenges students to achieve their highest potential.
