CEVRO Institute premises are located in a renovated period building in the heart of Prague. It was established on 15 September 2005, by CEVRO – Liberal-Conservative Academy, a think tank created in 1999 to provide political education and democracy assistance for democratic leaders and parties from around the world..
CEVRO Institute boasts leaders in their fields – renowned professors and associate professors and professionals (lawyers, judges, security experts, diplomats and former ministers). Graduates can make the best contacts (from the academic world, public administration, business, politics and security forces). We strive for a multidisciplinary approach to study – lectures in the areas of Law, Economics and Social Sciences take place in context. Lectures are held in small groups in the beautiful environment of a renovated period building in the heart of Prague. A comprehensive system of work placements both in Czech and foreign companies and institutions is available to students.
CEVRO Institute research focuses on topics from the field of Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Economics, Political Philosophy and Law. It is conducted both within departments of the University and through its specialized Research Centers, such as Prague Centre for Transatlantic Relations, Centre for Central-European Studies etc. Dozens of foreign scholars come to visit, attend international conferences, annual Summer Schools, lecture and publish with the CEVRO Institute Academic Press outlets. CEVRO Institute annually organizes “Prague Conference on Political Economy” (PCPE) – an international and interdisciplinary gathering of scholars focusing their research on a broad approach to the study of social reality crossing traditional disciplines.

The M.A. degree will help you to succeed in the areas of Politics (the PPE programme is very popular among policy-makers), Banking and Finance, Journalism, Business Management and Consultancy, or Civil and Diplomatic Services. It is also a very good foundation for a Ph.D. programme.

There is an International Student Office at CEVRO Institute which, together with the Erasmus Coordinator, take care of students´needs related to studies. They communicate with applicants, manage and organize the admission procedure, and proceed the outcomes thereof. The Office also provides documents on studies and copies of study reports. To help students with other issues, the Office cooperates with health insurance companies, ISIC and other involved authorities. It ensures all the administrative acts necessary for a smooth operation of the University, both for lecturers and for students.
Living in Prague is fun and relatively inexpensive. There are many options where to stay. Students of CEVRO Institute may use all dorms in a pool of accommodation facilities in Prague, which is owned by Prague universities and open for all university students. Students may also wish to arrange their own housing in Prague through many commercial agencies. All agencies provide all necessary housing documents needed for visa application.
The school library is located in the CEVRO Institute building and contains thousands of books on Social Sciences, Economics, Law and other disciplines. Major libraries of several Prague universities and the Academy of Sciences are located a few blocks away from CEVRO Institute and are very easy to reach. Our students and faculty also have on-line access to the electronic information resources.
Internet access is provided on the premises of CEVRO Institute. There are computers available to students in the study room and a PC lab.
The healthcare facilities are located off campus.

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Numberless restaurants and cafés, nightlife, rich culture and a wide assortment of leisure activities all contribute to making your stay a memorable experience.
There are no sports facilities on campus but students may use facilities located throughout the city of Prague.
