Berklee College of Music meets those needs and answers those questions with a system of student services that simultaneously empowers students to take responsibility for their own education while also providing a level of support that helps to ensure that students’ experience at the world’s leading college for contemporary music is of the highest quality.

Housing services
Students in Graduate Programs, Boston Conservatory Opera Intensive, and our Summer Performance Program must arrange their own housing, with options ranging from finding an apartment to staying at a nearby private student residence hall.
Students in the Berklee Study Abroad and First Year Abroad programs are required to stay in housing arranged by Berklee.
The Valencia campus does not offer student housing directly, but there are many options available for students to choose from. Students can rent a room in a private apartment or rent an entire apartment and arrange to share with classmates.
Library services
Our library features a beautiful, light-filled atmosphere and offers a breathtaking view of the City of Arts and Sciences. The library is a place of constant evolution in order to satisfy the developing needs of the Berklee community.
ICT services
Berklee requires all entering graduate students to own a laptop computer that meets certain standards established by the college’s academic and technology leadership. For over half a century, Berklee has been committed to preparing our students for the musical, technological, and business necessities of the world they will be entering.
Medical services
All students enrolled in a program at Berklee’s campus in Valencia, regardless of if it is a graduate, undergraduate, or summer program, are automatically enrolled in MAPFRE's health insurance coverage program, specifically designed for Berklee students. Campus life
Berklee’s Valencia whole campus is contained in one long building within the City of Arts and Sciences complex. Given the size, Valencia has a much smaller student body than the Boston campus. The facilities and recording spaces in Valencia are comparable to the scoring stage and studios found inside Berklee Boston’s newest building at 160 Massachusetts Avenue. Study Abroad students also have the option of completing a Minor in Music Technology, a program that is exclusive to the Berklee Valencia study abroad experience. For more information about this minor, please follow this link.
