We aim to achieve the highest standards in research and to make a real impact on health related problems for the benefit of local and global populations. To recruit and retain academic staff who are current or future world leaders in their fields and to develop and nurture academic careers in a supportive environment.
Our research excellence is obtained through cross-over between research themes and institutes. We play on our strengths, in genomics, functional genomics and post-genomic phenotyping, harnessing knowledge and scholarships for creation and innovation. Our research stretches from science at the laboratory bench, to identifying novel targets, drugs or other treatments, and applied health research.
