The Students' Union student halls of residence offer particularly suitable and reasonably-priced accommodation. They have different layouts, locations and facilities. Suitable accommodation is also offered for students with children and for students with disabilities.
There is no application deadline or close of applications for student halls of residence. Therefore, we advise you to apply as early as possible in order to get a room in one of the halls of residence. Our library collection includes about 50,000 books, journals, newspapers and data carriers. We provide access to databases for specialist literature, standards and training videos, as well as around 80,000 eBooks and 10,000 eJournals via campus licence. You can visit training courses, helping library members to use our constantly-updated stock effectively.

At Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), my experience has been quite positive overall. What I really liked is the practical, career-focused approach to teaching and the supportive atmosphere on campus. Most lecturers are knowledgeable and easy to approach, and many courses are clearly connected to real-world situations, which makes learning feel relevant and useful for the future. That said, it�s not perfect. Some subjects could definitely be more hands-on instead of leaning so much on theory. In a few cases, the content also feels a bit outdated and could use an update to better match what�s currently happening in the industry. Overall, I would recommend HNU, especially if you�re looking for a more applied and student-friendly environment. Still, there are certain courses where the structure and content could be improved to make the learning experience even better.
HNU provide great opportunities for jobs after graduation & studying abroad. It is more pratice-focused, not academic study. There could be pros and cons but I am personally satisfied with the experience at HNU and the journey I have been through.
A fine and relatively smooth-running institution in Neu-Ulm, a modern city on the Danube, right on the border between Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The online modules and courses are very useful and can often be recognised as Anrechnung (transfer credits) at many other universities and institutions in Germany, and sometimes even beyond!
