Housing services
Each residence hall on campus has its own unique spirit and advantages. There are also themed housing options, such as Freshman Floors, where you can live with other new students looking to make friends, or Substance Free Floors, where all of the students have agreed they want an environment free of alcohol and tobacco.
Medical services
All full-time undergraduate students are eligible to receive services from the Student Health Center. Located in the lower level of the Olsen Student Center, it has office hours Monday through Friday, when you could see a doctor or nurse practitioner by appointment or see a registered nurse even without an appointment. There is no cost for full-time undergraduate students.
Campus life
Our beautiful 68-acre campus is located in a residential area in Sioux City, Iowa (population: 140,000).
Student clubs
With more than 50 organizations on campus, it’s easy to get involved and become a leader at Morningside. You could join the choir, a co-ed volleyball team, the climbing club or the mock trial team. You could start your own radio show, or you could run for student government. There also are organizations in different academic departments, such as the Morningside Student Nurses Association, Iowa State Education Association, Undergraduate Psychological Association or Math Club. Maybe you will start a new group on campus. Students do it all the time!
