Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) was established in 1997 by PETRONAS to provide industry relevant engineering and technology education. Located in Perak, UTP is recognised for strong industry collaboration, research excellence and producing future ready professionals.

Our campus grounds and facilities are designed to provide easy, unhindered access to disabled members of our student community and faculty.
Library services
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) Information Resource Centre nicknamed IRC was established in July 1997 as a support centre for academic activities of the university. Housing an approximately 210,000 volumes of items, the collection comprises of a wide variety of printed and non-printed materials ranging from books, periodicals, in-house reports, audiovisuals and multimedia.
ICT services
- Internet access: UTP provides campus wide internet connectivity, including Wi Fi in academic buildings, residential villages and common areas.
- Computers: Students have access to computer facilities in academic buildings and the Information Resource Centre (IRC), which offers PCs, online databases, e resources and remote access services for study and research.
Medical services
The wellbeing and health of our students and faculty are among our top priorities. UTP has its very own health centre – staffed by experienced medical personnel – to provide emergency and routine health services 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Campus life
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) is a fully integrated, single location campus, where academic buildings, research facilities, residential colleges and student services are all located within one secure campus in Seri Iskandar, Perak. The campus is well connected and approximately 45 minutes from Ipoh, the nearest big city.
UTP offers comprehensive on campus facilities to support daily student life, including cafeterias, convenience stores, a mini market, ATM services, sports and recreation facilities, a health centre, and student lounges. This self-contained campus environment provides a safe, convenient and conducive setting for learning, living and community engagement.

The university itself it�s beautiful and it�s filled with people from which you can learn a lot. You�ll be amongst great minds, that will help you to become the very best version of yourself.
Underatted University
Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang is a public university officially established in 2014, having previously operated as a private institution since 1982. Although it may not yet match the scale of other prominent state universities in Indonesia, I believe that with its ongoing development, it has the potential to become a leading institution in the future.
