Education

The Kelowna College of Professional Counselling (KCPC) provides evidence-based, culturally sensitive training for those seeking a career as mental health professional.

Study online and earn your Diploma from anywhere in the world. KCPC’s unique distance education format combines university level texts with interactive exercises, demonstration videos, and instructor feedback to bring clinical theories to life. This hands-on learning experience builds the skills and knowledge needed to begin a career as a professional counsellor.

Career

Throughout your program, you’ll develop a portfolio of practical job skills. Depending on your area of specialization, you’ll be prepared to work as an entry-to mid level counsellor or therapist in a public agency, or open your own private practice. Some graduates apply their diverse job skills to other business endeavors

Accreditation

Kelowna College of Professional Counselling is accredited by PCTIA since 2005; granted Certification Designation through the BC Ministry of Advanced Education, Private Training Institutions Branch in 2016. Students are eligible to apply for Federal and/or provincial student loans and other types of tuition assistance.

It was a good experience I v learned a lot of interesting things during my studies in there and on of the most important thing that I learned is working in Equipes and sharing different ideas and get to know different styles, however the thing that I didn't really like is that there is not a variety of specialties in my school I think it's limited
