About

History

THE PALAZZO PIO overlooks the small Piazza del Biscione and the larger Campo de’ Fiori. It is built upon the ruins of the Temple of Venus, which once crowned a theater complex built by Pompey the Great. Pompey is best known as a soldier and statesman, yet his most tangible legacy comes from his role as patron of an exceptional architectural and cultural creation.

Education

The Swiss School of Management has high academic standards and seeks to maintain these standards by recruiting high caliber students. In deciding which candidates should be selected, we look for evidence of academic knowledge in diverse fields such as English Literature, Mathematics and Social Sciences that are relevant to business studies, and candidate’s interest in the subject of business, management and leadership.

Research

Relevant research projects may be at the level of businesses; industries; and/or countries. Our doctoral graduates have studied subjects such as global value chains; industry development; competitiveness of countries and industries; the impact of the financial sector (including micro-finance); logistics, high-performance organizations and corporate social responsibility.
