The General Education Center consists of the Education Creativity Section, the Entrance Examination Section, the Career Planning and Support Section, Section for Social Collaboration in Education and the Japanese and International Student Support Section. It conducts research, development and experimentation of educational programs in order to nurture human qualities and faculties throughout Kochi University.
Science Research Center:
The Career Planning and Support Section engages in research, development and trials of educational programmes on career planning and student support. It also designs plans for internships and career planning support, including advertising job information and holding orientations and consultations on job seeking, in addition to collecting and providing career planning information.

Students from overseas can be assigned with student tutors to receive advise on study, school attendance, and daily lifestyle, under the guidance of their guidance counselors for a certain period of time.
We offer accommodation for international students. In Oko and Monobe, students can stay in the housing facilities for international students, also known as ‘International House’. Accommodation for families is also available in Monobe.
The Library Section consists of the Main Library on the Asakura Campus, the Medical Library on the Oko Campus, and the Agriculture Library on the Monobe Campus. The University Libraries have over 740,000 books and 18,000 academic journals, and users can have direct access to these materials. All the materials can also be retrieved on-line.
Health Service Center:
Carries out health checkups, etc. to ensure students lead physically and mentally healthy student life, provides guidance on early detection and prevention of illness, and voluntary management of health in efforts to maintain and promote student health.
Recreational facilities :
These include international exchange hall, student dormitory, student hall (canteen, shops, etc.), health center, sports facilities, facilities for extracurricular activities, etc.
