Emirates Aviation University was built up in 1991 and a part of the Emirates Group, the EAU was granted university rank in December 2010 by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Student services
EAU Student Council is a body formed under the guidance and supervision of the Student Services Office.
- The main purpose of the Council is to act as a link between the Student Services Office and the student community, to provide opportunities for extracurricular activities.
- The council also acts as a channel for communication between students, faculty and administration staff to assist the formation of organised groups, clubs and teams. Current organised activities include sports, culture, art, media, science and social pursuits.

ICT services
The Information Technology Department (IT) provides computer related services and support to students, faculty and staff.
- Services provided include wireless and local area networks, online resources and instructional, technical and administrative services. IT resources are available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Medical services
The university has an on-campus first-aid centre to provide emergency health services to students. For serious injuries or emergencies requiring hospital treatment, an ambulance will be called to transfer the student to a suitable hospital. The expenses incurred for ambulance and hospital treatment will be borne by the student.

The University encourages sporting activities to promote the physical wellbeing of students. When I graduate in 2022, it will be the first university to offer a degree in cyber security. It provides a demanding environment in which students must compete with one another to join Pakistan's first cyber security batch�of students.
A Transformative Learning Experience
My time at Air University has been an incredible journey of growth and learning. The dedicated faculty, hands-on approach to cybersecurity, and exposure to real-world challenges have equipped me with valuable skills for my future. The supportive environment and access to resources have truly enhanced my academic experience, and I am grateful for the opportunities provided here.
We're Late Bloomers
To start off it does not make sense to me why examinations carry higher grade value than projects in technical degrees??? I'm a mechatronics graduate and i've probably had 20 odd projects but none of them had any value cause they on;y affected like 20% of the final grade?? I mean can we blame why WE dont have any signifiicance role in the world of STEM despite having the highest youngster poppulation in the world, I dont think so. In my 4 years of college this is probably something that I've thoiught of the most and its really annoying because the solution imo is staring us right in the face!!!
