Founded in 1950 as one of the first universities of P. R. China, Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) enjoys a longstanding reputation of excellence in China. Our legacy of providing globally relevant, practical education shapes our future as one of the world universities with world-class disciplines.
Education
There are 9 schools and 1 department in BTBU now that providing 16 master’s degree authorization first-grade disciplines, 19 professional master’s degree authorization disciplines, 45 undergraduate programs and 2 doctoral programs.

Best Global Universities Rankings by U.S. News & World Report presents all the top universities from the U.S. and 60 other countries around the world. They measure the rate of students going to their second year of studies, as well as the rate of students who graduate. It also asks university representatives on the performance of universities, and evaluates university resources, teacher salaries, graduation rates, student academic achievements and satisfaction. After calculating and comparing these criteria, U.S. News ranks the top international universities accordingly.

ARWU World University rankings is the first world university ranking. It ranks the world's top 1000 colleges and universities based on objective indicator. They look at the number of award-winning (Fields Medals and Nobel Prize) scientists who are located there, how much of their research is cited and referenced around the world, and how much they've contributed to different academic fields. After calculating and comparing these criteria, ARWU ranks the universities accordingly.
Housing services
In 2013, BTBU opened up a new building as dormitory for International Students on campus. There are totally 120 en-suit rooms. And the room is equipped with television, electronic kettle, air conditioner, etc. Each floor has one meeting room and one kitchen which equipped with refrigerator, induction cooker, microwave, oven, etc. And there are two laundry rooms in the building with washing machines and dryers.
Student clubs
In BTBU, there will be colorful cultural activities for International Students. All of these activities enrich the students’ campus life and develop their comprehensive qualities, and provide opportunities for them to communicate with Chinese local students.
