Tottori University shall compile its curricula in such a way as to “provide specialized knowledge and skills related to majors in regional sciences, medicine, engineering and agriculture, nurture broad and deep culture and comprehensive judgment, and foster a rich human nature in students” (Standards for Establishment of Universities)
The Research Center for Bioscience and Technology was established in April 2003, and we added it to the field of gene search, the field of radiation technology, the field of animal exploitation of resources, the field of instrumental analysis, the field of animal breeding experiment now, and facilities support field was installed in 2013.
In each field, we perform the construction of the specialized technological assistance and safety education joint use system and contribute to education, studies such as life sciences of this school, environmental science, the materials science.
Career Center promotes career education and internship with a view of raising students' sense of purpose and independency and supports their job searching activities corresponding with various type of job such as private companies and public agencies.

The Medical Counseling room deals with various concerns of patients related to details of their medical treatment, hospitalization and hospital visits, the set-up of equipment and facilities in the hospital, the staff’s conduct, medical expenses, and so on.
