On May 28, 1878, Emperor Alexander II signed a decree on the establishment of the first and only higher education institution in the vast expanses from the Russian Urals to the Pacific Ocean – the Siberian Imperial University in Tomsk.

National Research Tomsk State University opened one of the largest students' residence halls in the city (1,200 places).
Our students are provided with comfortable environment for living: dining rooms, kitchens, sports and laundry rooms, all the necessary social infrastructure. The hostel is divided into sections, you will share a room with one or two more students. There is a hallway, a bathroom and a shower in every room. In the spacious hall there is a place for self-study, relax and socializing.

I chose the Higher IT school at TSU because I was looking for more exposure in my engineering field and I found TSU’s Higher IT school does provide all of that. I believe that the quality of education in the Higher IT School can be defined in one word, that is Practical knowledge. Nothing is theoretical here. We are taught only practical work. And I guess that’s the best...
This particular programme is excellent. I cannot comment about programs I haven't taken. But this department is highly integretive, with scope of fantastic collaborations. They are doing crucial work in child development and psychological research.
My studies were okay but only the difficulties were due to studying in Russian language
