National Research Tomsk State University opened one of the largest students' residence halls in the city (1,200 places).
Our students are provided with comfortable environment for living: dining rooms, kitchens, sports and laundry rooms, all the necessary social infrastructure. The hostel is divided into sections, you will share a room with one or two more students. There is a hallway, a bathroom and a shower in every room. In the spacious hall there is a place for self-study, relax and socializing.

Studying at the university not only have I gained valuable knowledge in the sphere of politics and international relations, but also I was actively involved in extracurricular activities like seminars, conferences and internships. For me, this education was a quiete good experience. Almost all professors I had were wonderful competent First of all, there is still a soviet-orientated educational system. Almost all disciplines are compulsory. Students are always tired and they don't have enough time for other activities or scientific work. Secondly, some professors still believe violence can be used...
My experience at TSU is so far, so good. In general, I think that my university gives its students average knowledge. Our graduate programme is mostly outdated. It is enough for working in Russia, but also it is not the level which I want to reach.
