Pixel was established in Florence (Italy) in 1999 and has significant experience in the following areas: 

• Direct submission of European Projects.
• Organization of international education and training initiatives
• Organization of international conferences in the field of education

Since 1999, Pixel organizes and deliver international in-service training programmes and an international Master in European Project Management.  An average of 300 participants, from all over the world,  attend Pixel international programmes every year. 

Pixel carries out research activities in the following thematic areas in the framework of the international projects that are/were implemented:

• Research in Innovation in Education – 24 international projects carried out in the field
• Science Education and Research – 20 international projects 
• Research in Language Teaching and Learning – 18  projects 
• Promotion of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Work Based Learning - 18 international projects 
• Research in Medicine and Health - 14 projects 
• Research on Human Rights and Inclusion - 13 projects
• Research on Prevention of Early School Leaving – 10 Projects
• Research on History, Finance and Economics – 6 Projects
• Fine Arts – 4 Projects
• Other Research Areas – 8 Projects
