Novosibirsk State University

There are three accommodation options available for you:

• Dormitory rooms are offered by the University. A block is composed of one or two rooms and a bathroom equipped with a shower and toilets. Each floor is equipped with furnished kitchens and a leisure room. Cost for accommodations is 1,050 rubles per month and must be paid by the students.

• Homestay:

The University can assist you in finding a family that will be glad to host you. The accommodation fee must be individually negotiated.

• Rental apartment:

• Free access to foreign literature
• Free access to the world's largest publishers and to 24 international and Russian databases
• Resources of the Main Public Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences: 14 million prints, more than 6,000 full-text journals in electronic format, Databases of foreign abstracts from 140 international data centers.

The University is equipped with modern equipment and software that ensures that students have full access to the University or any other educational resources in adapted formats.

• It is compulsory for all foreign citizens to have a valid health insurance policy covering the whole period of stay. 
• For emergency medical services call 103 or 03. First aid and emergency medical care in Russia are available free of charge. 
• To make an appointment at the hospital ask for help at NSU’s Admissions Office.
