History
Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur was founded as the College of Engineering, Dhaka with the motto “Technology is the Advancement” at its temporary campus at Tejgaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1980. It was then renamed as Dhaka Engineering College (DEC) under the University of Dhaka in 1981.

Library services
Library resources are the key resources for all educational and research institutions. Moreover, online library resources are becoming more popular for higher education. Thus, there need a standard format for integrated library management system for exchange of information among different libraries around the globe. We used KOHA based system that provides the standard for library information.
Campus life
DUET, Gazipur has a compact campus with library, auditorium, halls of residence and residential buildings for teachers and employees within walking distance of the academic building. Post Office is also located in the same building.

Excellent web portal all over the world
Personally i like to use this web portal . its is a excellent site to apply for bachelor, masters and also Phd program. i am really helpful by this site. I think improve some requirements like GRE. overall this portal so much essential for those who want get higher study.
The course i conducted here is amazing.
