The School of Geography at Leeds is one of the largest and most innovative teaching departments in the UK, home to over 600 single honours undergraduate students, 60 Masters students and 65 research postgraduate students. Split over four buildings with over 2.8 million items, our library is one of the largest and finest in the country. The Edward Boyle library is our busiest with more than 47,300 visitors a week.

There is so much going on on campus and you're only a ten-minute walk away from a lively, cosmopolitan city, so you have the best of both worlds. Leeds has a well-deserved reputation for being a great student city as it is compact and has a good mix of culture, pubs, bars, eateries and shops. It has all you would expect from a major city and is surrounded by beautiful, accessible countryside.
Sports facilities
We've got fantastic facilities for all kinds of sports whether you want to participate for fun or at club and elite levels. Here's a taste of what you could get involved in:
