About

History

Drew was established in 1867 as a seminary, the antecedent of today’s Drew Theological School. In 1928, a gift led to the addition of the College of Liberal Arts, which began as a small college for men, became co-educational during the 1940s and grew significantly in the 1960s. In the early 1980s, it was granted what is still only the fourth Phi Beta Kappa chapter in the state.

Student Reviews

Great institution for great achievers
Anonymous rated 4 out of 5 stars

I will commence my master's program at Drew University in September 2022. However, I will say little experience regarding how they admit students; especially international students. The process of admission is pretty straightforward, with more concerns for the students and constant communication with her students. It is a citadel of advanced learning which ranks among the...

Drew experience - a short review.
Anonymous rated 4 out of 5 stars

I was lucky to study at Drew University as an International Student. The experience was unforgettable and the professors were nice and patient. I grew up professionally and mentally over the 3,5 years of my college career. The only thing I wish turned out differently is that I'd have received more information regarding the education system in the United States since as an...

Amazing University

I absolutely love Drew. They have many programs to study abroad for short and long periods of time. They generously give scholarships if you deserve them and the classes are small enough to make connections for life.
