Research
Research at Nova SBE focuses on three primary disciplinary areas – Economics, Finance, and Management – across Nova SBE Knowledge Centers (KCs), and several Nova SBE Labs and Hubs. We want to transform the world and dare to aim higher and higher. We will strengthen our community with scholars who don’t settle for the status quo and want to make a difference.
Career
The Career and Development Program helps students acquire market knowledge and set their personal and aligned professional goals, alongside attaining the fundamental skills that will empower them to become the most knowledgeable candidates and conscious professionals. To reach these objectives, the program starts with an induction week and includes a range of workshops, corporate events, networking sessions, and individual career counseling.

Campus life
Studying at our campus by the sea is a unique experience.
The location of our campus is amazing.
The campus surroundings grew exponentially, going from an isolated location on the Cascais coast to a fully urbanistic area with multiple means of transportation, cultural events, and activities. It will surely provide an incredible experience.
Sports facilities
The Nova Surf Club was founded in 2013 to promote surfing among students, a goal the club continues to pursue with the dedication of its members and the essential support of its sponsors and partners. Over the years, the club has grown into a vibrant student-led community that creates inclusive events catering to all experience levels.
Also, there is a gym, that is private service operated by an external company, Fitness Hut.

I am currently enrolled in the Master�s in Data-Driven Marketing with a specialization in Digital Marketing and Analytics at NOVA IMS, and my experience so far has been extremely positive. The university is very welcoming, creating an environment where students feel supported from day one. One of my initial concerns was the language, but the fact that the program is taught in English has not been a barrier at all. The professors make the content very accessible, ensuring everyone follows along easily. In terms of workload, I find the difficulty level to be well-balanced. I honestly have no negative points to mention so far. I highly recommend NOVA IMS to anyone looking to advance their career in this field!

Life at Nova IMS
Nova IMS is an amazing university that sits slightly elevated, offering a great view of Lisbon right from the front yard. The location is perfect. The professors are highly accomplished, super friendly and incredibly reasonable. You can ask them any question and they will answer without ever getting frustrated. Nova IMS also hosts great seminars and networking events that really help students build their careers. Campus life is wonderful, with so many different activities to participate in!!
