Kühne Logistics University - Wissenschaftliche Hochschule für Logistik und Unternehmensführung (KLU) is a private, state-accredited university located on Hamburg’s harbor. Sponsored by the nonprofit Kühne Stiftung (Kühne Foundation), KLU offers a broad spectrum of courses and research in logistics and supply chain and business management.

Student services

Our International Office is the contact point for everybody who is seeking information on KLU's exchange programs. We maintain a network with our partner universities and whether you are a KLU student, an incoming student from our partner network or a free mover, we have all the details you’ll require for your semester abroad. KLU was awarded the Erasmus University Charter of the European Union and participates in the ERASMUS+ program, which facilitates the exchange of students and staff in Europe.

Finding the right type of accommodation is a challenging task. Accommodation in Hamburg is both hard to find and comparatively expensive.

KLU is based in the HafenCity – a rather expensive district located near the city center. Nearby districts are Neustadt and St. Georg.

Accreditation

The Foundation of International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) has accredited over 1,800 degree programs, but until now it has awarded the premium seal to only 16 universities – including Kühne Logistics University.

KLU has a strong support for your career opportunity. With a subsidized/discounted German courses at language institues, if you constantly learn German since the beginning, you will be ready to easily step into German job market! Besides a degree, your internship/ working student experience in Germany will be the cherry on top.

The program was too elementary. A masters program should be filled with meaningful project work to enhance your knowledge. This program only focused on theory for grades rather than actual know-how. This means that not every students leaves KLU with the same workable knowledge.
