Overview

With the Mathematics (Hons) degree offered at University of Sussex you’ll learn from experts whose research is making a world-changing impact in areas ranging from smart materials and predicting floods to the behaviour of queues, social networks and infectious disease control. General requirements

International Baccalaureate: 32 points overall from the full IB Diploma.

Higher Levels must include Mathematics, with a grade of 5. For entry, either Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation at Higher Level will be accepted.

European Baccalaureate: Overall result of at least 77%.

Evidence of existing academic ability in Mathematics to a high level is essential (normally with a final grade of at least 8.0).

A-levels must include Mathematics.
You should have a broad range of GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
