Make the most of interdisciplinary teaching at Sussex. You’ll study in an internationally respected Sociology department and gain a historical understanding that becomes a tool for positive change.

You’ll study central questions about society and explore how they apply to key moments in time. History at Sussex is not about memorising facts and dates. Instead, you’ll apply historical knowledge to real-world challenges and current topics. You’ll have a lot of choice and can study everything from the history of emotions to environmental history or the histories of rave, fashion and youth culture.

International Baccalaureate: 30 -32 points overall from the full IB Diploma.

European Baccalaureate: Overall result of at least 75% to 77%.

You should have a broad range of GCSEs 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
