Careers with Psychology
Hands-on learning is central: students undertake course-based laboratories, supervised research projects and community initiatives that translate theory into practice. An optional co‑operative education stream becomes available after second year and supports employability through workplace placements. Certificates and digital badges allow targeted skill development in areas such as counselling, ageing, data analysis and rehabilitation services, recorded on the official transcript.
Study routes include full‑time and part‑time enrolment, with classes organised to support students progressing from foundational first-year work into specialised upper-year seminars. Experiential education options are embedded across the curriculum and students can complement degree requirements with internships, class-focused placements and faculty-led research. Academic advising and student resources are available through the Faculty of Health and central university services to support progression and selection of concentrations.
